happy 4th of july!

sunday night we went over to jimmy's house to celebrate the 4th with him and grandma. jack had a lot of fun running all over and racing his cars.

this is the cake johnny and i made for the celebration (we thought it was white icing but it was not...so i said it was an antique flag).

yesterday (on the 4th) we decided to get some stuff done around the house and yard. johnny mowed the lawn, i started to paint jack's artwork thingy, we hung some pictures in the bathrooms, got my bag mostly packed,

let jack wear his buzz lightyear undies

(that he looks seriously cute in!!), and

johnny installed charlie's carseat and moved jack's over

(i was nervous about how jack would react since he doesn't like change and he LOVED it! he loved the fact that he could touch the window).

we went over to amy's for dinner. jack had a lot of fun running around and chasing archie. as you can tell by the picture he tripped and busted his lip...poor buddy!
he really liked stabbing the fruit with toothpicks! we were there until almost 9:00 and jack was still being a good boy and left with a dry pull up :)
