i made it down the steps to the backyard today!! yay! i am feeling better today. i am able to straighten my knee a lot more. i am still walking a little funny because i can't get it all the way straight, but i am walking a lot faster. i am so glad to be on my feet again and be able to help around the house. i started packing my bag for the hospital today. i have wrapped jack's present to charlie, charlie's present to jack and our present to jack. i cleaned the bathroom, put up the dishes, cleaned the counters and bar off, and cleaned the kitchen table. it is weird but it feels so good to clean!!! i missed it in a strange way :)

in other news...jack poo pooed on the potty again. he has really done well with potty training if we have his diaper off. today he was standing at his train table playing and he took off running to the potty. so i got off the couch (way too slowly!) and made my way to the bathroom to check on him. before he could see me i could hear him say "i don't need momma's help" under his breath and then when he saw me he said it louder to me :) so i said ok i will stand back over here in the hallway. when he was done he gave me the big ole grin that he gives and i of course was very excited! now comes the somewhat gross but good part. jack likes to dump his potty himself. so he takes it and dumps it very carefully into the big potty. he does a great job with it so we don't tell him not to...not sure if that is the best idea or not, but it is working for now as his reward. i told him again how proud i was of him and he gets a very happy look on his face! so cute!
now we just have to work on pulling off his undies. he can't get them down or just plain doesn't think to so he just goes to sit on his potty with them on and goes. atleast he goes to his potty!!
