saturday morning we met robby, andrea, and clara at the zoo for the vip members preview of the new trails of africa exhibit. sadly the elephants did not make an appearance :( the area was really nice though. i was impressed!

jack finally likes to ride of johnny's shoulders :)
this guy game out and said the elephants would not make an appearance this morning and then he brought out this...
a wild boar of sorts. it was ugly!so we went and saw the monkeys instead (always a hit)
jack and clara love the squirrel monkeys (and so do me and andrea). the monkey liked jack's elephant toy :)
then off to the kangaroos...
jack enjoyed climbing over the log bench we are sitting on.
then we went to la paz to celebrate andrea's birthday. it was a great morning!
