jack's favorite toys:

* pop tarts

* "chick sher lay"

* pick up anything small with his penguin
* play with his train set (all over the house)
* follow me everywhere i go
* play on "our bed"
* watch shows (that will be our next thing to give up, not completely, after the pacie)

things we are doing with jack these days:
* trying to take away the pacie. i started on monday. i just explained to him that he can only have it during naptime and bedtime. so far so good! (except in the car..he wants it really bad in the car, but i have not caved in)
* trying to get him to eat our dinners. this has not been very successful. 2 nights ago he did he chicken piccata! he liked it because it was lemony and he squeezed more lemon on there. so we will have lemons in the fridge for chicken nights!
* working on counting since he knows most letters. he can count to 6 really good!
* having conversations!!
some funny/sweet stories:
* we called mimi last night because jack said he wanted to and when she said hey to him he said "i did bad" and she asked what he did that was bad, he said "poured cup out". (he just got a bath and dumped a whole cup of water out of the tub after i just told him not to). i think it is funny that he had to tell mimi about him being bad!
* jack saw a picture of his friend hudson hugging his little sister and said "that's jack hugging ______" (he said baby brother's name, but since we haven't officially announced it i left it blank)
* went in to get jack out of bed and said “how are you?” jack said “I’m jack”. I said no you say I’m good and jack said “no, I’m jack, just jack.”
*This isn’t that funny but when asked what’s in momma’s belly, jack says “a baby” and then I asked what the baby’s name is and he said “_______” yay! (3-10-11)

this is after he messed it up some, but i wanted to take a picture of how he spreads it all over our den to make a long track...he makes the tracks all by himself (usually) (i will try to take a pic of one of the elaborate ones that he makes)
