happy 2nd birthday jack!

i can't believe that jack is already 2!! it seems like yesterday that i had him. this year has gone by so fast...time needs to slow down!

jack has become an amazing toddler right before our eyes! when i say amazing i really do mean it! he is so smart and funny. i love seeing him learn new things and explore.

he has changed so much!

(he made a bus out of construction paper!! i had nothing to do with this...except for taking his picture. he even put the driver from his little people bus as the driver for his bus!)

he has picked up all kinds of new words and is pretty much non stop talking now. he still has trouble putting words together but is getting much better. one of our favorite things that he says is when he is pretend taking pictures. he will say "cheese...momma...cheese...daddy...cheese...petey...cheese...crayon...cheese...glasses.." we think it is so funny how he spaces out his words. i don't know why he thinks he needs to take a breath in between each word. oh well! he is catching on fast though.

this morning when we got him up to tell him happy birthday he was pretend sleeping and closed his eyes and snored. it was so funny!

there are some bad things that come with being 2! i think everybody knows about the terrible twos. jack definitely has his moments!! haha! he does not want to get in his carseat anymore and it is driving me crazy! he has always been such a good car rider...he still is a good rider. it is just getting him in the carseat that has become a big chore! he is very strong and when he doesn't want to do something it is very hard for me to force him sometimes because (sad to say) i am not strong enough! i always end up winning though...i just have to talk to him and reason with him.

i am very thankful to have a healthy 2 year old! the good definitely out weighs the bad and i am so thankful to be able to stay at home with my little booger bear! i am so proud of him and can't wait to see what the next year brings!

*his favorite foods are still his favorite...although he has added raisins and apples to the list
* i think he weighs about 27 pounds
* he likes a show called callilou
* can catch a ball
* is still obsessed with his pacie
* has become more of a momma's boy
