saturday night jack and i went on our first date! it was soooo nice to go out with just him. i told johnny that i wanted to do it once a month. he was so excited and i think he felt really special. i was really excited beforehand and even got excited butterflies...corny and weird, i know. i think it was almost better than when johnny and i go on dates...maybe that is weird too. don't get me wrong...i LOVE to go on dates with johnny, but i NEEDED that time alone with jack. i got plenty of one on one time when jack was a baby, but since charlie came along my poor jack has kinda been left out i think. i really really enjoyed my date and look forward to many many more!
chick fil a did a "date knight". it was for moms and sons. when you walked in a hostess sat you at a table and then you went to order your food. a jester brought our food to us and then refilled our drinks through out our dinner.
jack was so excited about seeing a knight and the cow. he said it was a "real live cow".
at dinner they had a question sheet to get conversation going :) one question was would you rather live on the moon or under the water and we decided that we would want to live under the water in a submarine. jack and charlie would have bunk beds and jack would be on the top bunk.
i can not say enough how much fun we had and how much i love that little boy! he is just plain wonderful!!

Mommy and son date night is precious! Those will be such sweet memories for both of you. Robert and Kathryn go on date nights every month or so and it just melts my heart.
