pcb beach trip

 day 1:

we stopped at country's bbq on the way down to the beach for my mother's day lunch

 jack feeling the ocean breeze

 he loved all the shells

 happy mother's day to me!!

 charlie feeling the ocean for the first time...he didn't like it

 both boys LOVED the pool

day 2:

 this wagon was wonderful! it was $10 at walmart and he could bring it down to the beach all by himself

(and he is wearing flip flops for the first time)

 charlie took both morning naps on the beach

 jack loved to jump over the waves

 i thought jack was going to love the splash pad area, but he really just liked the pool and beach the most

 we went to barefoot beach club to eat dinner. it was so nice because there was a playground for jack to play on while we waited for dinner to come...and jack got to get a key lime pina colada

 charlie did not like the sand all that much

 jack crawled down this for a while :)

 johnny and jack went crabbin

 they caught one and brought it back up to the room for me to see :)

day 3:

 walking charlie to sleep

 my little beach bum

 the lazy river...it was COLD!

 charlie was NOT a fan of the splash pad

 jack was obsessed with this fountain

 where jack slept

charlie slept in the room with us. both boys slept great! (well charlie slept the same as he does at home). jack was really funny the first night though. his bed was in the hallway...i guess he felt like he had freedom to get out of bed...he never gets out of his bed at home. he ran into the den area and saw us and ran as fast as he could back to his bed. then i walked to the kitchen to get something to drink and caught him making faces in the mirror down the hall...i cracked up! 

but other than that he did great and slept all night all 3 nights
