our 7th anniversary

 7 years ago i married my best friend!!

 we had a group of loving friends to support us and wonderful family to support us!!!

 we went on a family hike at botanical gardens

 charlie loves to feel the leaves

 and he is waving :)

we went to eat at a sushi place (we wanted to go to bettola but it was closed because it was memorial day (along with a lot of other restaurants). then we went to pf changs and got the great wall of chocolate for dessert. 

johnny got me a emerald charm for my fingerprint necklace and i got him a penny ornament that has 

J & T engraved on it and it is inside a copper washer that has happy 7th anniversary engraved on it too. i should have taken a pic of it...i will do that and update it one day this week.

we had a wonderful anniversary and are so happy to be married to eachother and we are not itchy at all!!

 charlie tried his first sorbet at doodles...i think he thought it was weird because it was so cold, but that didn't stop him from taking a few more bites

 we went over to grandma's house sunday night for a memorial day cookout (we did a day early since our anniversary fell on memorial day this year)

jack has been making a "juicer" lately. i posted another juicer that he made but i think this one was cool too.

 jack asked to plant a garden one day so i researched a little about planting veggies in pots since we didn't really want to dig up grass in our yard since we will be selling next year. anyway, here's jack and charlie in line at home depot

 jack really wanted to grow carrots

jack was a really big helper and liked playing with the soil. he liked seeing the different sizes of the seeds. we planted cucumber seeds, carrot seeds, and green bean seeds. we planted a tomato plant,  a basil plant, and a thyme plant.

when jack woke up from his nap we went to the window to look at our pots and jack said "(gasp) they grew!!" i think all he saw from the window was the tomato plant :)

our cucumber seeds have started to sprout!!

 charlie is getting a little bit better at walking behind a toy 

 jack loves to hold charlie's hand in the car...sometimes he doesn't want to let go when charlie wants him to let go though. 

he loves his baby brother!

 we made some popsicles one morning last week

johnny and i at his residency end of the year dinner. he got an award for a talk that he gave during the year. i am so proud!

there's a pirate at wald park!!

 we went to a park we have never been to before called wald park. he wanted to go to the park dressed like a pirate. that is the first time that he has ever wanted to go anywhere dressed in dress up clothes!

you can see charlie's tooth in this picture :) it has gotten bigger since this picture was taken.

we went to the zoo today...it was a fun day with my boys!

charlie is super fast at crawling now...especially when he is trying to get something that he wants really bad :)

it is fun to see jack and charlie playing together...without me feeling like charlie was going to break!!

 charlie is finally eating solid food! we have put things on his try before but he didn't like it or he wouldn't even put it in his mouth. i wasn't forcing it because i wanted him to do it when he was ready.

he is doing a good job with it. he eats puffs better than he did the goldfish. he will eat like 40 puffs in one sitting. i think that is pretty good! i am proud and so is jack...

 when johnny got charlie out of the car for church on sunday he looked down at his hand and there was poop on it...along with his shirt, charlie's clothes and legs, and the carseat. i only had 2 wipes and that was NOT going to do the job. so johnny carried charlie in like super baby and i took jack to his sunday school class. johnny had to take his shirt off and wear his undershirt to sunday school. thank goodness it was johnny and not me because i couldn't take off my dress.

jack still needs naps!! he fights them, but this just proves that he does...he finally fell asleep while watching a show at like 4:30

 jack said it was a juicer...he said you are supposed to squeeze the juice into the end over by the baskets and it will go down into the bowl at the end

 charlie is standing in his crib...we have to lower it down to the lowest level now

 jack has asked for pete to sleep with him a few times so johnny left him in there last night. he stayed in until we went to bed
