easter weekend

we went to columbus for most of the easter weekend. we got there thursday night and let jack and charlie play a bit before bedtime. friday charlie had his 9 month pictures and we did some brother pictures too. ty and emmie and their kiddos got there around lunchtime. we ate lunch and then it was naptime. jack refused to take a nap...surprise surprise. (although i have figured out that if i put him down at 2:00 he will still nap for an hour or so...thanks andrea).

friday after naps we had an easter egg hunt. julie came over to visit and had a pillow fight with frank and jack :) jack has always loved julie!! friday night my dad got crab legs for everybody and made me fish since i don't like them. it was yummy!

friday night we decided to try letting the boys sleep in the playroom on a pallet. they NEED to be older to do this! they were so cute talking and giggling, but just couldn't stop talking and giggling! they stayed awake until after midnight and then woke up around 6:00. it was crazy! anyway, i think in a few years they will be able to sleep in the same room, but for now we will just have jack in the room with us!

saturday we went to a new park and played in the sand.

johnny and i got to ride my parents bikes on the new bike trail...ty and emmie also rode. it was so much fun!

we left after naptime and made it home in time to go over to robby and andrea's house to see our friend brian.

sunday was easter!

then off to church we went. it was a great sermon...one of the best!

that night we went over to grandma's house for a yummy easter dinner and to see johnny's grandma and uncle donald, sue, and jimmy.

we had a wonderful easter weekend full of family!!
