fort

we went to the zoo with robby, andrea, and clara on monday afternoon and then they came over to grill out. i told jack that we were going to see clara and he said her name a bunch until we saw her. then the next day he said her name everytime he saw the high chair that she sat in or saw the hat that she put on for a split second! he loves her!! he didn't want to share his toys with her, but he loves her :) apparently it is hard to share your own toys. when we go to clara's house or mama and me jack is fine with giving up a toy (most of the time), but not at his house. whenever clara picked up a toy jack had a fit over it and acted like it was his most favorite toy in the entire world!! clara was good about giving up most of them though. i forget how much older she is than jack. 6 months in baby months is a lot. i remember when she was jack's age and they played together she would pinch his or bite him if he took a toy from her. she has come a long way...hopefully he will too!!

for the past week or so everytime we come home from somewhere jack wants to grab a stick outside and then run inside and try to "fix" the fireplace. it's really cute and funny!

we built a fort today! it was fun until jack decided after 5 minutes that he wanted to pull it down and then use the sheet as a parachute. he loves the parachute at kids gym. so we practiced learning up and down!
