christmas 2009

we had a great christmas this year! we were so lucky to have johnny's dad and family come visit us from december 19th-23rd. johnny had to work most of the time they were here but we still had a lot of fun visiting with them and catching up. we ate some yummy food and sweets (thanks to rise)! it was great getting to see them and see them play with jack!
mary, molly, and darryl also came to visit from the 23rd-28th. we went to zoolight safari with them the first night they were here. johnny had to work when they were here too, but we got to see them at night and christmas day. we had a wonderful christmas dinner with them! we also got to play tribond at night and really enjoyed that. jack absolutely loved playing with molly and would hug her with out anybody asking him to. so cute!
on the 28th we went to columbus to see my family and to celebrate frank's first birthday. we had a lot of fun at the party! jack had a lot of fun stealing frank's toys :) we got to go to sesame street live on the 29th and had so much fun! the boys really liked it. frank clapped from the get go, but jack had to take it all in. once he realized that he liked it he started to clap too! we ate some yummy food in columbus too!!

jack really had a great christmas and i think kind of understood what was going on. he woke up christmas morning to all kinds of toys that santa brought. he was really excited about playing with all of them. he had a yo gabba gabba christmas this year. he got some stuffed doggies that he likes to hug. he got some new spoons and spatulas that he loves to play with in his ball pit.

all in all it was a wonderful christmas at home! it was my first christmas with out seeing my family on christmas day. but i was ok with it because i knew i would see them on the 28th. we had a good christmas breakfast and then johnny had to go to work :( that was the only bad part about christmas this year. he was only there for a few hours so it was ok. pete had a great christmas and got some treats and tennis balls from santa. i got new toms from johnny and he got stemless wine glasses from me.
