Desoto caverns

We went to Desoto caverns last week and had a great time! Jack thought it was so cool! They turned off all the lights so it was completely dark...creepy! The bumper cars at the end was so fun!!!

2012 in review

charlie got RSV...not a great part about 2012, but very memorable

johnny celebrated his 29th birthday

jack took swim lessons for 2 weeks and did great!!

we had a fun christmas!

New Years Eve

 we went to j clyde for some appetizers and came home to make pizza, blow up the air mattress and watch madagascar 3! we had a great family time!!

 we are ready to see what 2013 has in store for us!!

(santa also brought the stomach bug to jack...he woke up at 5:30 with diarrhea...in his underwear. poor buddy! so that is why my boys aren't wearing matching pj's)

we gave jack handy, a new bedtime cd, and a leap pad

we gave charlie a little people bus, airplane, and tractor (they were jack's old toys...don't judge us)

 we skyped with darryl, tia, and molly and opened the presents to eachother. it was a lot of fun to skype with them and made texas seem a little closer to us!

i guess charlie was ready to go outside wearing daddy's shoes

johnny wanted to make a standing rib roast for christmas day...i'm glad he did because it was tasty!

grandma make a cake for jesus' birthday...it was the famous jello cake

this is what johnny and i gave to eachother for christmas...it is a watercolor painting of charlie from the same lady that painted jack's.

christmas eve

 we went to our church for the children's christmas eve service. jack chose to dress up as a donkey

 grandma got to join us

 then we went to grandma's house for the traditional chinese dinner. 

the boys got to open a few presents

 we came home to do some traditions like put out cookies for santa.

 and read the night before christmas book. (jack got the book and the reindeer who he named "antlers" from dot)

 we feel very loved :)
