visiting santa

 jack wrote a letter to santa. i wrote out santa on another piece of paper and then he wrote it on his. i thought he did pretty good considering he doesn't write those letters in his name.

then he drew the pictures under the things he wants to show what they look like :)

 we went to the bass pro shop which was amazing! they have a carousel, some sort of toy gun game, a bow and arrow game, and crafts.

 charlie loved the carousel

 jack was so cute! he was so proud of charlie riding on the carousel :)

charlie did not cry!! he did not want to smile though :)

jack's thankful tree

jack finished his tree on thanksgiving day. 

jack is thankful for:

* that i can eat pizza and carrots

* for when charlie wakes up so i can be loud

thanksgiving weekend at mimi and papa's house

 we drove to columbus the day after thanksgiving and stopped in auburn to walk around.

 mimi with her darth vaders or as jack says "dar dader"

 we gave ty bailey's for his birthday because of the old gregg video he showed us

my dad did a crab and shrimp boil (this has become our tradition). namer, michele, and lisa came to visit. it was a fun weekend!

 jack was so excited to decorate our tree. he did so well putting up the ornaments...he did at least half of them.

thanksgiving at our house

 our thanksgiving day started with watching the parade. it is fun to watch it with jack because all of the floats were so cool to him! 

then we raked the leaves in the front yard during charlie's morning nap

 we had johnny's grandma and uncle, grandma, jimmy, sue, and all 4 of us at our house this year. it was our first time to host thanksgiving and i think it turned out well. it was a lot of fun to host it at our house. the best part was the boys got to take a nap after lunch and we got to visit.

grandpa's visit

 grandpa came to visit us on november 15th. the boys were excited to see him. charlie took to him instantly and jack did too (but who does jack not take to instantly??)

 the next day we got to go to jack's thanksgiving feast at school. this is jack's class with ms. ginny!

 i let jack choose what he wanted to put on his plate (i knew he wouldn't eat any of the casseroles so i just decided to relax and give him lunch after school)...he chose fruit and corn :)

 we went for a walk around botanical gardens after the feast

 this one is out of order...grandpa brought presents for the boys and they wanted to play right away.
