jack's columbus visit

when we left my parent's house last month jack asked when he could go stay with them. so we set the date and my parent's were really excited because it was the weekend that the airshow was in columbus. anyway, here are some pics from the airshow...

while jack was gone we, or better yet, johnny decided that we should restain the front door. i thought it looked fine, but apparently it did not. i do not really like how dark it turned out. turns out we don't really know how to pick a stain color.

jack has become a bit obsessed with hugging charlie! well, he says hugging...i say more like tackling or squishing him. he is actually really good and loving with charlie. he helps me by making sure all the small toys are put up high.

the past couple of weeks in pictures

i did really good a few weeks ago with my couponing. i spent like $85 and saved about $90. i was super excited. that trip i bought 12 boxes of cereal!!

i seriously could stare at him in this outfit all day! my friend lindsey made the shirt for me. just wait till you see the little outfit i have for charlie out of the same fabric that i bought from my friend kelley..that's who the shorts came from too :)

jack likes to "read" a book with his lamp on at night. when we went in to turn off his light he was asleep with the book on top of his head, but when we went to get the camera he moved and the book fell off.

johnny's new toy. his dad got him a zoku popsicle maker...it makes a popsicle in 5 minutes!!

charlie's first haircut

charlie got his first haircut on the 17th (at 8 months old)...i did NOT want to get his haircut because jack's first haircut (at 6 months) made him look like a toddler instead of a baby! i wanted to hang on to charlie's baby locks just a little bit longer!

jack loves to hug, squeeze, kiss, and hold charlie. i love that he wants to be around charlie all the time and that he gives him attention, but he about gives me a heart attack everyday. charlie is going to be one tough boy!

we are loving this weather!! it has been in the upper 70's or lower 80's this week and it feels amazing to be in a tank top and flip flops again! i love getting the boys dressed in all their new spring/summer clothes. it has been rainy today and yesterday, but that allowed me to get some house work done.
