we have had so much fun this week with jack. the first night of sleep was pretty rough as johnny said. we slept a total of 1 hr that night (15 minutes here 15 minutes there). luckily sleep has gotten a lot better. last night he slept a stretch of 4 hours all at once. it was great. so hopefully he will be a good sleeper. we are getting about 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night (just not straight sleep). we will take what we can get. he is really a good baby! we have all been sprayed by his pee :) (and i have been sprayed by his poo...yuck)

we are so blessed to have this little guy in our life!!

we had a lot of fun with our family coming to mobile. this is such a special time for me and johnny and we loved sharing it with our family. jack loved meeting everybody!! he is the sweetest baby boy in the world :)

We are back from the hospital and finally getting a chance to post some pictures. We are doing great but VERY sleep deprived!!! (Last night we slept a total of about an hour) He was born at 4:14pm on the 21st, weighed 8 lbs, 3oz, was 21 inches long. Tara will post the whole story later, I just wanted to post some pictures (this is Johnny by the way). So, here's the pictures...

39 weeks

i am now 39 weeks!! jack could come any day now. actually as of right now i am scheduled to be induced on tuesday the 21st, but i have an appointment with my doctor on monday to talk it over. we had an appointment on friday, but with a different doctor because mine was out of town. i am still only 1 cm dilated so if i don't move along naturally they will induce me. so we'll see!!

johnny and i went to a birthing class today. i didn't really want to go to it, but i am really glad we did. they covered everything and made me feel just a little bit better about delivering jack. just keep praying for us!!

i am still feeling really good. i cought a cold somehow even though i am staying home most of the time. johnny might have brought something back from the hospital even though he is really careful about washing his hands. i took some meds (which i did not want to do, but needed to get better for jack!).

37 weeks

i am officially full term!! jack could come any day now. i went to the doctor on friday and he said everything still looks good. i have really had a great and lucky pregnancy. i feel good (most of the time). i haven't felt very good today. we had a busy day yesterday so i think that i am just tired. i am just taking it easy today so that i can feel better tomorrow :)

jack weighs about 6.5 pounds and is about 19 inches long.

our friends robby, andrea, and clara came down to see us and bring us some of the things that clara has outgrown already (which we really do appreciate a whole lot!!). she is so cute and she has such a great personality. i can't believe she is already 5 months old. it made us really excited about jack coming and getting to play with him.

clara really liked watching pete. maybe his eyes were weird to her!! pete did a great job with her (thank goodness). he was really interested in her and didn't get much sleep because he watched her every move.

we went to the park to get out of the house. it was fun. clara loves to be outside and in the fresh air. pete of course loved the park and throwing his frisbee.
