jack has a lion king book that he likes for me to read to him. so we read it one morning a few times before we went to the zoo and when i asked him what he wanted to see first he said the wart hog...i guess because of pumbaa. so that is what we went to first...
then timon (he was sleeping though)

i also successfully nursed charlie at the zoo :) yay! we went to the dino bones area. there is an area at our zoo that has dino bones and sand so you can dig for the bones. jack loves it and it is shaded with a bench. it would have been great, but the bees were after my sweet milk. i was running around with the hooter hider on trying to get away from them :)
then on the way out we walked my the food court area and they were spraying the trash cans with something that made the bees come out of the trashcans and fly all around. i had a thing of juice in the stroller cup holder...the bees wanted it and one would not get off of it so i slowly picked it up and put it down on a chair and left it there. ha.
then when i got to the car one would not get off of the stroller and i was freaking out. those that know me well know that i HATE bees! so after getting in the car to get the courage to get the stroller in the trunk... i did it! when i got back in the car after getting it in there jack game me a gummy and told me that he was proud of me! so sweet!!!
