first haircut!!

jack had his first haircut today!! he did great. i was really proud of him. he was very interested in what was going on and what the lady had in her hands. we went to a kids salon in mobile...they were amazed at how much hair jack had at 6 months old. he got to watch tv, play with my phone, and look at himself in a big mirror while he was getting a haircut. i think he had fun!

we also had jack's 6 month checkup today. he got 2 shots :( he did great though. this time i brought a pacie with me and he sucked on it while they gave him the shots. he only cried a little! he cried more when the lady checked his temperature :) he weighed 18 pounds 9 ounces and was 27 1/4 inches long. he is still in the 75th percentile...so that is good! his doctor told us we can give him stage 2 foods and a sippy cup of water or watered down juice. we have had a very eventful day today.
