fun sunday

 my boys before church

 after church we went to botanical gardens for a bit

 if jack sees gravel he HAS to pick it up and most likely will ask us if we want to feel it. 

 this picture was just a quick little shot i got of them being sweet. i can't believe that it turned out so cute!

my crawling 15 month old! jack was already walking for 6 months at this point :)

grandma and jimmy came over that night for dinner and then we walked over to a block party. it was nice to meet some of our neighbors!

they are playing better together though. they play chase and charlie wants to play with everything jack is playing with. he loves to play in jack's forts. usually jack lets him play in them, but sometimes he wants them all to himself...understandable to me, but not to charlie :)

st. jude trike-a-thon

jack's school had a trike-a-thon to raise money for st. jude. it was adorable!! jack didn't win...in fact, he came in last place, but when johnny got home from work that day he told him that he won :)

chattanooga

 we went to chattanooga last weekend to visit ty, emmie, frank, and mamie (if jack was sitting here reading what i was typing...not that he can read, but you know what i mean...and meg and bea--the dogs) 

we had so much fun! i love watching jack and frank play together. they are really so good with eachother. my brother's new house is awesome! it was such a great weekend!

 on the way home we made a detour to visit namer and let her meet charlie. the boys were so good and jack loved talking to namer and rubbing her hands and arms. i am so glad that they have spent some time with their great grandmother!

 mamie and charlie didn't really get to play together much because the boys kind of took over the space and well, they were in their highchairs a lot!! haha!

we went to a park that has great slides!!

zoo and petting farm birthday

 we went to the zoo on tuesday with clara and the coupon this month was free bird feedings...i am too scared to do it (and so is jack), but not clara!! she is so brave! it was so nice to go with just andrea, clara, and joseph...it has been a while since we went with just them (not that i don't love going with everybody else :))

 yesterday we went to eli's birthday party at the petting farm. it was so much fun! when we pulled up to it jack said "i want to have a barn birthday one day"...in my mind i thought "great now he is not going to want his firetruck birthday", but i think he is happy with the firetruck bday party.

when johnny got home last night from work the first thing that jack told him was that he got to eat at the top of the barn :) i thought that was so cute because i didn't even think about the fact that we were eating in the barn. and he told him that there was a stage in there :)

finding nemo

 we went to see finding nemo with lillian and john whitten last week. jack of course loved it because finding nemo has been one of his favorite movies for years. i think lillian liked it. poor thing cried a lot. it is a very emotional movie. she was so good that she sat through it even though it made her upset. she cried sad, scared, and happy tears.

 charlie did great! he ate lunch and snacks and loved sitting in melissa's lap (so much that he didn't want to come back to me...he did the same thing with alli the next night) i love that he loves my friends!!

 jack went to visit mimi and papa this weekend and had a blast of course! when i got home from picking him up we decided to celebrate having him home by going on a picnic at railroad park. it was a beautiful day!
