huggies box

jack decided to be once again a brave boy and jump off of the huggies box. he had soooo much fun doing it the other night and jumping for me to take pictures. he would wait for me to count to 3 and say "jump" before he would do it and then he would rush over to see the picture on the camera. it was so much fun!
he asked his daddy to jump too. jack would count "3, 2, 1, jump". it was too cute!

national championship!!

this is right before the game started! jack got to watch some of auburn play in the national championship, but then we put him to bed a little early so we can enjoy watching the game and while not having to play with blocks and cars while we try to watch the game! (although we do love to play with toys with our boy...just not while auburn plays in such an important game!)

snow day!

i thought i had to post about the snow since everybody else is...

we knew we were going to get some snow today so of course johnny, jack and i went to the store 3 days ago to stock up on bread and milk :) but really we did go to the store but we did not get bread. this one old man in the milk aisle was getting about 10 half gallons of organic milk. i thought it was really funny! anyway, it started last night by the time we went to bed we had about 1 inch of snow to look at! this morning we probably woke up to about 3 inches of snow, but it was more like ice than anything. jack basically ice skated around our yard because he doesn't weigh enough to break through. he had fun anyway! we tried to sled but couldn't find the right thing to use. johnny tried to use a tupperware box lid...no go. then he tried the top to the sand box...that worked, but not that great. we gave up after that.
now we are baking cookies and we have had chili going in the crockpot all day long and we are gearing up to watch auburn play in the national championship!! we were going to have a little party tonight but the slushy roads made us cancel it :(

i am probably the last person to post about christmas on their blog...oh well...better late than never! on christmas eve we went over to grandma's house and ate the traditional chinese dinner on her china. it is such a fun tradition! we ended up staying over until 9:00 and jack didn't get to bed until 9:30!! crazy!!

sonny got him a really cool truck that has an electric screwdriver that really works. jack was obsessed and still is!

he got a lot of gifts from tia, molly, and darryl. he got dinosaur puppets, a dinosaur book, and a handy manny book. he also got a lot of great presents from grandma, but i didn't get any pictures of them

we drew names this year so we got on speaker phone with mary, molly, and darryl to make it feel like we were all together. i got a new vera bradley diaper bag that darryl picked out (it is the same pattern that my purse is and he didn't even know it!) i love it!! johnny got a i pad case from jimmy (he got an i pad from me and my parents for christmas).
