crazy hair and zoo

jack still loves the bath, but mom and dad do not...jack is way too active in the tub and wants to stand up in the tub and look turn every which a way!

i let jack play in the water fountains at the zoo the last time we were there. he had soooo much fun!

jack loves his aunt molly because she is so much fun! she makes a puppet out of a gift bag...

and drums out of tubberware! the stars were the symbols.

we met molly's boyfriend dee a few weekends ago. he is really nice and good to molly! we went to a restaurant called chez lulu. it was yummy! molly's sister carolyn came with us to eat...she is in med school at uab. we had a lot of fun and can't wait for molly and dee to come see us again :)

first steps!

jack took 4 steps in a row today! i was holding pete's tennis ball in the air and saying "do you want it?" to jack (he loves to throw a ball to pete!). jack walked toward the ball! i couldn't believe my eyes. he has taken one small step every now and then but not multiple ones in a row! i said that he would be walking at 9 months and i was right!! my baby boy is growin up WAY too fast.

day in the life of pete

well...here is a day in the life of pete! he wakes up (usually later than us...he likes to sleep in) and then he eats breakfast. then he goes outside for a bit and comes back in to see what we are up to.

then he likes to play with jack and spend some time with him.

then he sleeps for a while...he likes to sleep on the couch we bought for the living room/office (or for pete). he thinks that he is the guard dog on this couch and barks at loud cars and other dogs that go by.

he likes to chew on his toys and never jack's!!

then he sleeps a bit more (this really sums up pete's day...he loves to sleep!)

he eats his dinner and then goes outside again. when we put jack to bed he likes to hide under his crib and get asked to come out with a bribe of a treat!!

pete loves for jack to throw a ball with him, he loves to go for car rides, he really likes going to the farmer's market on saturdays because he gets to smell other dogs, , he loves to sleep, he snores in his sleep, he likes milkbone treats, he likes to roll on the couch after a bath, and he loves us!

he is the BEST dog ever and i am so glad that we have him in our life :)

this is a video of jack blowing what i call a zerby but others call it a raspberry. anyway, it shows one other thing that pete loves to do...give jack kisses. it is gross but germs are good for babies, right?

levins family reunion

we had our first levins family reunion at lake eufaula. it was so much fun! we played in the lake and ate hot dogs and hamburgers and homemade ice cream!! i am looking forward to next year!
