thanksgiving craft

jack, johnny, and i have been working on a thanksgiving craft. i saw something similar on one of my friends, friends blog...yes i am one of those people :)

it has extra hand leaves waiting for everybody at the thanksgiving table to write one thing that they are thankful for

here are 2 of my favorite things that jack is thankful for...

i know that he is thankful for a lot more than this but he would get a little distracted and just tell me something that he was looking at.

jack's drawings

i am so proud of jack's drawings! even though you and i may not be able to see what he sees when he draws them, i know that he knows exactly what he is drawing. i love seeing his imagination!!

i also love the fact that he is finally taking an interest in drawing because it is something that i love to do.

jack is really starting to play with charlie and it is so cute!

i guess charlie was too bored while jack drew some pictures. on the bright side...jack, who usually hates to do any artwork, has really enjoyed drawing pictures lately. he draws pictures of trucks, rocket ships, and pumpkin patches.

welcome silas

our friends, jason and lori, had their baby! we were all so excited about this baby and were dying to know what it was. lori was a champ and did it with out any drugs!! turns out the baby was a BOY!

i made a wreath that i saw on pinterest. next time i will splurge for the real wreath instead of the plumbing pipe that someone recommended using.

thanksgiving snack

last friday was jack's thanksgiving snack at school. all the kids were so cute in their shirts they made and jack was super excited to show me his art that he made.

southern museum of flight

we went to the southern museum of flight recently with alli, eli, and shepard. it was so much fun! (until jack's major meltdown when we were leaving)

we ended up getting a membership and are planning on going a lot this winter to get out of the house!

christmas craft

we are getting started early this year so that i can hang up the crafts we do. jack did great making the handprint christmas tree. i think school is helping him with crafty type things!! i will post the finished product later.

we did some tummy time in jack's room the other day. charlie is getting super strong!

happy 30th robby!

we went to highlands to celebrate robby's birthday friday night. it was soooo yummy! thanks to robby and andrea for letting us share their gift card! we had a blast!

and then we were heathens and skipped church to go to the zoo. we had a blast and the weather was AMAZING! i think jack really enjoyed having his daddy with us at the zoo.
