beach and park

we went to dauphin island on wednesday because johnny had the day off. it was beautiful outside...perfect weather (finally)! we had a lot of fun watching pete run through the waves and chasing birds. we took him off of his leash for a few minutes just to see what he would do. he had so much fun and stayed right by us.

35 weeks and 5 days...i went to the doctor on wednesday also. i am 1 cm dialated and getting scared :)

we went to the park on thursday because johnny got off early...we love 4th year!! oh and by the way johnny got AOA (which is a medical honor society) we are really excited!!! but the park was fun and pete got to run after his frisbee which is one of his most favorite things to do.

35 weeks

i am 35 weeks today! jack weighs about 5 1/4 pounds (a cantaloupe) and is about 18 inches long. i told johnny today that i think it is crazy that i have a 5 pound baby inside me right now :) I still feel really good(praise the Lord). i got a really bad headache that lasted for 3 days last week ( i think it was from the hurricane pressure...who knows). jack moves around a lot and likes to kick my ribs now when i am trying to sleep (that little monster!!).

johnny got a few interview offers already...yay! he has heard back from the medical college of GA, johns hopkins, and UAB. we are getting really excited and nervous. pray that we will pick the right place and it will be where God wants us to be.

i went shopping today and bought some things that i am going to need after jack is born. who knew babies were soooo expensive :) he is worth it though!!

this is jack's room! we still need to fix the pictures above the changing table, put some things on the shelves, and put some brown drapes up. we really like it and so does pete!!

when we were in birmingham we ate lunch at o' carrs. it was so good and really good to see kelly after she had been gone for soooo long

33 weeks

wow!! i'm getting big!!! or maybe jack is getting big :) the computer says that he should weigh about 4 pounds (a pineapple) and is about 17 inches long. CRAZY!

molly's trip to mobile

molly came down for labor day, like she does every year. we had to evacuate for the hurricane this year. molly evacuated with us to birmingham on sunday and spent the night with us there.

this is the ben and jerry's (phish food) ice cream cake i made for molly. it was yummy!

we think that it is funny how much pete loved molly and how much molly didn't love pete (molly is not a dog person). he wouldn't leave her alone. he wanted to sleep with her and play with her the whole time she was here :)

the hurricane traffic!!!! it took us 7 hours to get to birmingham when it is supposed to take us 3 1/2 hours. it was not fun!!

this is the only picture that molly and i took together. we both look bad because we didn't take showers or anything...we just woke up and took a picture because we realized that we didn't take a pic together...oh well.

this is the chair that johnny and my parents got me for my birthday. it is really comfortable!! i am sure i will spend lots of time on it :)
